Jack Hoffman, the 7-year-old boy from Atkinson, Neb. who has been fighting brain cancer got to meet President Barack Obama Monday.
Jack became an Internet sensation and garnered national attention recently when he ran for a 69-yard touchdown at the Husker spring game.
Jack and his family, along with former Husker running back Rex Burkhead visited with Obama for 15 minutes in the Oval Office. According to Jack's father, Andy Hoffman, Obama gave Jack a new football and told him he was proud of him.
Sen. Deb Fischer helped arrange the presidential meeting so the Hoffman's could talk to the president about pediatric brain cancer and their Team Jack campaign to raise awareness for the disease.
