Two Killed in Fiery Crash in Southeast Nebraska

Posted: Updated:

Authorities say alcohol contributed to a fiery crash that killed two people in Southeast Nebraska Saturday.

Terry Hasty, 41, of Pawnee City, and Amanda Hernandez, 33, of Tecumseh, were both killed in the crash Saturday.

The Johnson County Attorney's Office says Hasty was driving at speeds over 80 mph when the accident happened.

Hasty hit several mailboxes and struck a tree before the vehicle caught fire.

Sheriff Scott Walton says alcohol was a factor in the crash.
