Hemingford Woman Admits to Helping Boyfriend Hide Body

Posted: Updated:

A 20-year-old Hemingford woman has pleaded guilty to being involved with the death of Denver man whose remains were found in a remote area south of Chadron last year.

Rose Siefke admitted to helping her boyfriend, Andres Gonzalez, hide the body of 38-year-old Josh Bullock. Siefke pleaded guilty on Friday to a reduced charge of being an accessory to a felony.

Bullock, of Denver, was reported missing by family and friends in the Alliance and Chadron areas in December 2011.

Officials were unable to find Bullock until last June, when Gonzalez admitted to killing him as he was in the middle of a 14-hour standoff with officers in downtown Alliance.

Gonzalez was killed in the standoff, but before his death, Gonzalez told officers he had buried the body in Dawes County.

Bullock's remains were later found and positively identified.
