Cairo Benefit to Aid 6-Year-Old Girl with Brain Tumor
The Watering Hole in Cairo is hosting a benefit for Lamya Luckey on June 1.
Lamya is 6 years old and will begin undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments after being diagnosed with Medulloblastoma.
Lamya was diagnosed with the cancerous brain tumor on April 8. Two days later the tumor was removed, but now she has to undergo round after round of radiation and chemotherapy in Omaha.
The benefit being held on June 1 will help support the family during this tough time. Activities will begin at noon and include things to do for kids and adults. There will be a poker run, silent auction, kids games, face painting, bounce houses, raffles, a live band beginning at 9 p.m. and much more.
Those wishing to donate but who are unable to attend can contact Jason or Candi Price at 308.485.4111.
