According to the USDA's weekly crop
update soybeans are 94-percent planted, right about average for this point in
the season, and 71-percent has emerged. Ten-percent of the crop is behind
Corn is doing well. 98-percent of the
state's corn and soy-bean crop is rated fair, good or excellent. Only
two-percent of the crop has been marked with a poor or very poor rating.
An update on acreage is expected on Wednesday.
