Pleas Entered in Memorial Field Vandalism Case

Posted: Updated:

Two Nebraska men involved in the vandalism of Memorial Field last November were in court Monday morning.

Noah Keller and Christopher Stover made their pleas, Keller pleaded no contest and Stover pleaded guilty.

In exchange for their pleas, the state has reduced their criminal mischief charge from a Class-4 Felony to a Class-1 Misdemeanor. They are also ordered to pay restitution of $34,333, one third of the total damage at Memorial Field.

Sentencing will take place July 26 facing up to one year prison and up to a $1,000 fine.
