A Grand Island man who's accused of attacked his wife with a knife has been arraigned.
Jesus Parra is charged with nine counts, including attempted murder and child abuse.
The charges stem from an April incident where Parra allegedly tried to kill his wife, slashing her with a knife.
Parra made an angry outburst in is previous court appearance, claiming his wife was trying to kill him.
He is scheduled for a jury trial in August. County Attorney Mark Young said previously that Parra has been offered a plea agreement, and has until the time of his pre-trial hearing to accept the offer and avoid the trial.
