Cardiovascular disease and stroke are our nation's #1 and #4 killers and much of these problems can be reduced or even eliminated with healthy living, exercise and healthy lifestyle habits.
The American Heart Association wants to spread the mission to our community and save more lives. No one gets healthy by accident, so get involved and be a part of the healthy solution for everyone.
Good Samaritan Hospital is the presenting sponsor of the American Heart Association's HeartChase.
HeartChase is an innovative community event that provides a fun way to promote healthy living and support a great cause.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 12 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at UNK. The event combines excitement from shows like The Amazing Race with wacky team-based games like Minute to Win It. Our HeartChase event brings families, friends and coworkers of all ages together in a competition to uncover clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges in a race to the finish line.
Teams are made of 2-5 players with at least one Smartphone. Entry fees are $35 per team member if registered on or before June 30. After June 30, registration is $50 per participant.
