How to Volunteer at the Nebraska State Fair

Posted: Updated:

A lot goes into making the Nebraska State Fair a success and one of the most important pieces is the volunteers.

Volunteers can help out with many aspects of the fair, from hospitality to educational and children's programs.

Volunteers should be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. Each shift is four hours long. All volunteers must also attend a mandatory training program to become fully acquainted with their job.

Benefits of volunteering at the fair include free gate admission for that day, a free official volunteer souvenir t-shirt, and those volunteering more than 20 hours will receive two single admission passes to be used any time during the fair.

Interested individuals can sign up online at statefairvolunteer.org.
