The official Lincoln Highway Centennial Celebration will take place in Kearney on June 30 – July 1.
"The Bricks" in Downtown Kearney will set the location on Sunday, June 30. The event will start at noon with a variety of festivities including historical re-enactors and period music and food.
The Lincoln Highway Centennial Committee is inviting all antique, classic, stock and modified modes of transportation from local and national car clubs to be a part of the celebration on Sunday.

The Lincoln Highway Association's Official Centennial Auto Tour will include two significant antique vehicles which will be trailered to Kearney from the East Tour, a 1913 Stoddard Dayton and a 1916 Oldsmobile Model 44 V8 Roadster, amongst other unique cars.
The LHA official Centennial Celebration will take place July 1 at The Great Platte River Road Archway. The Archway will host the Centennial Auto Tour vehicles, a parade of Packards, an early 1900's tourist camp and education camp, food and craft vendors and a gala that evening.
