Gas prices have continued to fall across the state, dipping below the national average for a gallon of gasoline.
Average gas prices fell 6.4 cents per gallon over the last week in Nebraska, according to BasBuddy.com. That brings it down to $3.50 per gallon on Sunday, compared to the national average of $3.57 per gallon which only dropped 3.8 cents per gallon.
Additionally, prices in Nebraska have dropped to below what they were at this time last year and are well under where they were at last month. Prices on Sunday were 1 cent lower than last year and 46 cents below the same day one month ago.
