Sidney Police Apologizes for Officer's Taped Outburst

A profanity laced outburst by one of its officers forces Sidney Police to apologize.

The recipient of the tirade was videotaping an officer at a Sidney crime scene. The department said Officer Scott Tobler acted improperly and has been punished for his actions.

The man who filmed the video has acknowledged he intentionally followed the officer. The incident was taped and placed on YouTube where it has had over 30-thousand views.
