Detours Due to Hwy 30 Road Construction in Grand Island

Grand Island —The city of Grand Island Public Works Department has new road construction notices.
The concrete replacement at 1st Street/Highway 30 and Eddy Street has been completed. Construction will move to the intersection of 1st Street/Highway 30 and Greenwich beginning on Wednesday and will continue for about 10 days.
Highway 30 Eastbound traffic will be detoured at Greenwich in the following manner:
Traffic will continue south on Greenwich to Koenig, and turn east on Koenig to Eddy Streets, then turn north on Eddy Street back to 1st Street/Highway 30.
The detour will be signed but local traffic is encouraged to use an alternate route.
Eddy Street between 1st and 2nd Streets will remain closed until Thursday, July 18, for the installation of pavement markings.
