YORK, Neb. (AP) — An
anti-pipeline group and some local landowners are setting up training
sessions in York that will focus on zoning, spills and emergency
The session is scheduled to be held between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the York City Auditorium.
Kleeb is director of Bold Nebraska, which opposes the proposed
Keystone XL pipeline that would carry Canadian oil through Nebraska and
other states to Texas refineries.
Kleeb will open the training by
reviewing regulations and resolutions that already have been passed in
other jurisdictions as well as some that have not been adopted.
