Miracle for Megan Benefit

Posted: Updated:

Friends and family are coming together in support of Megan Kelly who is battling breast cancer.

Megan found out she had cancer when she was six months pregnant with her, now one-year-old son, Liam. She had to have chemo while pregnant with her son and her baby was born one month early and healthy.

In March she celebrated the end of treatment and was cancer free but in April doctors found that it was back and very aggressive. She has since been in Maryland undergoing a trial treatment and has undergone a mastectomy.

Friends, Jim Donley and Katie Ruth say she is doing well and they want to do their part to help her out.

The benefit will take place Sunday July 28th at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings. It will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and free will donations will be accepted.

They ask that if you can't attend or donate that you please pray for Megan and her recovery.
