Storms rolled through Custer County Friday night, leaving Broken Bow residents on clean–up duty.
Downed tree limbs, soil deposits, even piles of hailstones still clutter the streets a day later.
While residents say they've seen worse storms than this, the amount of hail left over shocked some.
"I was surprised, again we live in the Southeast part of town about 10–12 blocks from here and we had hail and stripped the garden badly," said Broken Bow resident Jim Gerardin. "But we didn't have drifts of hail like I see here, so this must have been one of the worse areas."
A public report says Broken Bow saw approximately 1.9 inches of heavy rain throughout the night.
