Your furry companions will get a chance to close out the Hastings summer pool season next week.
On Monday, August 19, dogs will be allowed to take over the Hastings Aquacourt for one last hurrah before the pool closes.
All dogs must be registered and licensed with the city of Hastings and pay $5 to attend.
People won't be allowed in the water, but they can hang out and watch their pups have a good time doing the doggy paddle from 6-7:30 p.m.
City officials want to remind owners that they will be responsible for their dog's behavior, so aggressive dogs should not be brought out for the event.
