Hunters will soon be able to enter a
lottery to get deer hunting access in the central Platte River Valley.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission
said 38 hunters will be chosen at random during a drawing scheduled for early October.
They will be able to hunt on the Platte
River recreation access lands between November 16th and November 24th.
Hunters can apply to hunt in three
areas but will only be selected to hunt in one.
Applications will be accepted
throughout September by mail or at the commission's service center in Kearney.
