The United States Attorney's Office in Omaha says 17 people have been arrested in connection with a long-term methamphetamine investigation in western Nebraska and eastern Colorado.
U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg said Tuesday that the arrests took place in Ogallala and Brule, Neb. as well as a few surrounding cities.
All 17 individuals have been charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession of meth. The names of those arrested include: Luis
Enrique Miramontes-Arteaga, Andres
Merced Rodriguez Barajas, Ruben
Avila Barraza, Jesus
Kay Tyler, Minnie
Beth Donner and Linda
Several federal and local law enforcement agencies took part in the lengthy investigation, in which officers seized more than three pounds of meth and $8,000 in cash.
