Two names have been sent to Gov. Dave Heineman to fill the vacant judge's seat in the 10th Judicial District in central Nebraska.
The Judicial Nominating Commission nominated Timothy Hoeft of Holdrege and Bryan McQuay of Alma for the position let vacant by the retirement of Judge Robert Ide.
The 10th Judicial District consists of
Adams, Clay, Fillmore, Franklin, Harlan, Kearney, Nuckolls, Phelps and Webster
The governor will schedule
interviews with the nominees in the coming weeks.
