A car auction unlike any other drew thousands to the small rural town of Pierce, Neb.
The Lambrecht Chevrolet collection included cars dating back to the 1950s. Vehicles included trucks, sedans, and sports cars -- some of them with only a few miles on the odometer.
NTV managed to catch one of those lucky auction winners Sunday in Kearney. Bob Colson described the sale as a once in a lifetime experience.
"The crowds began to migrate on to that little town and it
was unbelievable, 5- to 8-thousand people on this little lot there," said Colson.
Colson bid and won a 1962 Chevrolet Impala, a 2-door hard top with a 327 engine in it and 350 horsepower.
"It'll be fun fixing it up," he added.
