$30,000 in Equipment Stolen From Fire Station

According to police, more than $30,000 worth of equipment has been stolen from a fire station in eastern Nebraska.

Omaha police said an external storage unit at an Elkhorn fire station was broken into between Thursday night and early Friday.

Several items were taken including a thermal imaging camera valued at $6,000.

Authorities are asking the public for any help that may lead to arrests in the case.
