Harvest season is just getting in to full swing now. One Upland farmer is two weeks behind on his soybean harvest.
Joel Grams owns a 4,500 acre farm with his brother and he's behind compared to his soybean harvest numbers from last year.
Last year, Grams says he had 70 bushels an acre on irrigated land and this year he is projecting only around 60 bushels an acre.
Grams explains the big difference from last year.
"I think last year about this time we were bout half done with harvest completely. We had all of our harvest done by the end of October; right now were sitting at half done with soybean harvest," said Grams.
The Upland farmer says one way his harvest would see a boost is by keeping snow and severe weather away.
