Gas Prices Head Toward Three-Dollar Mark

Posted: Updated:

The days of three dollar gas may be making a comeback.

A new report from AAA says the national average for a gallon of gas is now sitting at around $3.35. That is down 21 cents from only one month ago.

And the good news is, AAA says it expects gas prices to continue to fall, possibly even reaching an average price of $3.10 to $3.20 by Christmas.

This means many parts of the country could expect to see prices fall even lower.

The motor club attributes the drop to steady demand, sufficient supply and the change over to cheaper winter gas blends.
