Grand Island – Do
you have questions about the new health care law?
The Grand Island Public Library and the American Association of Retired Persons
(AARP) are co-sponsoring informational sessions for people who want to learn more
The sessions will discuss how to
obtain coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, tax credits available
to reduce the cost of insurance premiums, the law's benefits and protections,
and new coverage options.
You can attend the session whether
or not you have health insurance or coverage. October sessions will take place
in the computer lab at the library, located at 211 N. Washington St., on
Saturday, Oct. 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 11
a.m. to 1 p.m.
In November the library will be
offering four more sessions on this same topic. More information will be
released to the community closer to session dates.
These informational sessions are
being offered as part of the library's eGov services which provides public
computer access to citizens who want to make use of local, state, and federal
government online programs.
