North Platte Police officers arrested a 25-year-old man Tuesday after receiving a call that he had threatened two others with a knife.

Michael Haworth was taken to the Lincoln County Detention Center Tuesday on felony charges of terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

Authorities were called to the Country Inn in North Platte a little after 9 a.m. Tuesday where two 27-year-old men told officers that Haworth threatened them with a kitchen knife around 3:00 that morning.

The victims told officers Haworth was intoxicated when he threatened them, saying he intended to "kill them" and attempted to hurt them with the knife.
