A 51st state could soon
be on the horizon and it wouldn't add any extra real-estate to the Lower 48.
If all goes as planned for Northern
Colorado residents this could be the case.
On Tuesday voters in 11 Northern Colorado
counties will decide whether they want their commissioners to move forward with
a plan to break away from the state.
This vote comes after a group
called "Club 20" spoke out. They believe they've been ignored by the Denver-centric
The group claims lawmakers passed a
liberal agenda on matters like civil unions, energy policy and gun control.
Critics of this plan believe
congress wouldn't allow it if the movement makes it to that point.
