Utilizing technology while teaching for the next generation of job seekers makes NTV's October Outstanding Teacher stand out from the rest.
Staff and parents watched as Wood River Biology teacher Tim Sanderson was honored as October's Outstanding Teacher.
Sophomore Tanner Johnson nominated Sanderson, applauding his ability to easily explain Science, and his use of an iPad in class to prepare students for the future.
Mr. Sanderson is taking the award all in stride though.
"I feel great. I feel that I put a lot of work into my profession," said award winner Tim Sanderson. "I take it really seriously, but I know there's also thousands of other teachers across the state who do the same, but it does feel good to get recognized for my efforts."
Mr. Sanderson's class will get a free lunch from Runza for this honor. Congratulations to NTV's Outstanding Teacher.
