Another round of Nebraska veterans could be taking a trip to Washington,
D.C. to check out the city's monuments and memorials thanks to a donor's
promise of $90,000 for the cause.
Bill Williams, of Patriotic Productions in Omaha says he now wants to charter
two planes for the honor flights that would take more than 300 veterans to the
nation's capital. He organized a Korean War honor flight that took more than
130 veterans from Nebraska to D.C. just last week.
He is calling the effort Operation Airlift, but he says he'll need more help
to make the trip happen.
