Volleyball Tournament to Raise Money for Father Fighting Cancer

The 8th annual Endure the Cure co-ed volleyball tournament will raise money for the family of B.J. Margritz.

B.J. is a father of two children and is fighting Stage-4 Glioblastoma Cancer.

The event is scheduled for December 8th at Gothenburg Jr. High's gym beginning at 8 a.m. Those interested in helping out the cause can get a team together for a day of fun. The cost is $60 per team and the deadline is Dec. 1st but all are welcome to come out and watch.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and free will donations will be accepted. Raffles for prizes will also be a part of the event. Call Pam Houchin at (308) 930-0331 to buy your tickets prior to the event.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Margritz family. Additional donations can be dropped off at Dee's Floral & Gifts at 922 Lake Ave. in Gothenburg.
