A bomb explodes in Hastings Thanksgiving morning. NTV spoke with home owner Rod Pontine earlier today over the phone and he says the explosive was set at his home right between the storm door and front door around 2 a.m. Thursday, November 28.
Pontine says it violently exploded blowing the storm door into the yard, shattering glass and damaging the inside of his home.
Pontine, his wife and two young children live at the home. Fortunately no one was hurt. He hopes someone out there will be able to help the police find answers.
The bomb squad was called in at 2000 block of Boyce Street. Local and state police are investigating and haven't made any arrests yet. If you have any information please call Hastings Police Department.
