Lincoln – The Nebraska State Patrol has released the results of its Husker Game Day enforcement during the 2013 football season.
Troopers and Communications Specialists participated in special enforcement efforts during the Husker football season in an effort helped to put additional troopers on the road during times of heavy traffic both before and after Husker home football games.
The enforcement was designed to ease traffic congestion and reduce the potential for injury crashes.
During times of enforcement 78 citations were issued for speeding along with five open container violations and eight for restraint violations.
There were two arrests made for Driving While Intoxicated.
