The sounds of the season filled the air, as an annual holiday concert helped raise money for two Kearney programs.
For more than 30 years, the Kearney Area 1733 Barbershop Chorus and Friends have hosted this benefit to help their community.
Organizers say the gift of music is a great way to give back.
"We just feel that the Christmas season can never have too much music," said organizer Francis Wilson. "And we like to provide more by providing some of our best friends and people that are very talented and willing to sing to come in and please the public."
About $550 was raised at Sunday's concert, benefiting Crossroads Rescue Mission and the UNK Vocal Music Department.
