NTV has a Christmas present for viewers, with what promises to be the biggest and best Holiday Harmonies yet.
Choirs filled the College Park auditorium in Grand Island with music Wednesday.
Harvard was among the schools recording Christmas favorites for NTV's special broadcast this year.
Student at Harvard said it's fun to perform for a TV audience, and credit director Blake Thompson for growing their program.
Dallas Doupnik said, "Our music program has grown so much in the past few years. It's becoming like a sport."
"He's done a terrific job turning it around, completely 180. Before it was, oh, go to choir, go to band. Now you're excited to go and compete," Quenton Roberts said.
This is no competition, but NTV's way of celebrating Christmas with viewers. Holiday Harmonies airs Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with five hours of music in all – the biggest year yet.
