Diners in search of a hot meal were left in the cold, as a fire call briefly evacuated a Grand Island restaurant Thursday evening.
Fire trucks from all four Grand Island fire stations responded to the call at Texas Roadhouse, located along Highway 281.
The call came in around 5:15 p.m.
A fire captain told NTV the initial indication was an electrical problem. Later investigation verified that information. Damage was minor, and the restaurant was able to re-open.
No smoke or fire could be seen, but firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to search the kitchen for hot spots while the staff waited outside.
There were no injuries reported.
The restaurant opened in Grand Island the spring of 2012.
