A man involved in a two-vehicle crash last Friday near Minatare in western Nebraska has been arrested.
According to the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Andrew Hackett was arrested Tuesday for providing a fake name to authorities responding to the accident.
Hackett also was wanted on an outstanding warrant for drug possession.
Hackett had been treated and released from a local hospital following the crash before authorities discovered his true identity.
The driver of the other vehicle, 20-year-old Michael Fiscus, of Mitchell, faces charges of willful reckless driving and carrying a concealed weapon.
A passenger, 36-year-old Seth Thompson, was critically injured in the crash.
