Producers will meet in Clay Center this January for the annual Farmers and Ranchers Cow/Calf College "Partners in Progress - Beef Seminar".
The seminar will be held at the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center and Great Plains Veterinary Education Center on Jan. 28.
The program, which is geared toward beef producers will start with registration at 9 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 4 p.m.
The public is invited to attend this free event, though registration is required to reserve a plate for lunch.
Registration is due by noon on Friday, Jan. 24, to ensure a meal. Walk-ins are accepted but may not receive a meal. Registration can be sent to the UNL Extension Office at 621 North Cedar, Red Cloud, NE 68930 or made by calling 402.746.3417.
According to UNL Extension officials, the seminar will feature internationally recognized
speakers and is designed to provide information that should help cattlemen in
planning for the upcoming year or educate the public in topics and issues
involving the beef industry.
