After allegedly driving away from a Lexington gas station without paying, two wanted Iowans were arrested along Interstate 80 in Dawson County.

The Nebraska State Patrol says a trooper arrested 30-year-old Shane Houke and 30-year-old Dawn Lagrange, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Saturday morning. Both were on the U.S. Marshals Service's Most Wanted List.

Lexington police issued an alert around 10 a.m. Saturday for a red SUV involved in a gas drive-off at a convenience store. Not long after, a trooper stopped a red Nissan Pathfinder heading west on I-80 near the Darr interchange.

The trooper found Houke, the driver, was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force on multiple warrants for failure to appear, contempt of court on conspiracy to commit a felony and false use of a credit card.

Lagrange, a passenger in the SUV, was also wanted by the task force on multiple warrants for illegal use of credit cards, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and gathering where controlled substances are used.

Houke and Lagrange were taken to the Dawson County Jail.
