One of the six people wrongly convicted of murdering a Beatrice woman claims the officials responsible still haven't taken responsibility.
Debra Sheldon spent nearly five years in prison before she and five others were exonerated by DNA testing.
The six, nicknamed the ‘Beatrice Six,' sued Gage County and various law enforcement officials for their wrongful conviction. The civil trial began Tuesday.
In 2012, two of those wrongfully convicted were awarded a total of $800,000 after suing the state.
