Grand Island police are investigating what they call "a mini–crime spree" that ended with the suspect being detained by hardware store employees.
According to police, 40–year–old Travis Bubak went in an employee entrance at G.I.'s Ace Hardware store Saturday and began taking merchandise.
That's when officials said employees held Bubak down until police arrived.
After being arrested for theft, authorities said they found items from several thefts and burglaries that began Friday.
They're now attempting to contact property owners to find out just how many items Bubak may have stolen.
