Longtime Hall County Judge Loses Cancer Battle

A longtime Hall County judge died Sunday following a battle with cancer.

David Bush was 65 years old.

Bush retired in 2011 after serving 24 years on the bench. He was appointed by then Governor Kay Orr and began serving in December 1987.

He handled about 15,000 cases a year during his career.

Services are still pending through All Faiths Funeral Home.
