Agriculture will be front and center in Kearney for the next few days, as cattle producers set their sights on the Buffalo County Fairgrounds for the 23rd annual Cattlemen's Classic.
Organizers started the first of nine days with horse sales and events like Saturday afternoon's ranch rodeo.
This rodeo gives buyers the opportunity to see the horses in action before being sold, and participants are glad to show their side of the cattle industry.
"I like it very much," said Mushy Stohlman. "Think it's very good to kick it off with this, you know, kind of spark some interest, get people out here."
The Cattlemen's Classic continues through February 23rd and will include seminars, livestock auctions and vendor booths.
