I was born in Truro, England but grew up most of my life in beautiful Superior, Colorado.
I graduated from Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado.
I graduated Cum Laude from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
I had the privilege to intern at 7News in Denver, Colorado the summer of 2012 with the sports team where I experienced top breaking news stories like the Aurora Theater Shooting, Waldo Canyon Fire and Peyton Manning playing for the Broncos. While finishing up college, I did another internship with the Little Rock, Arkansas 7News team. There I spent a lot of time interviewing politicians at the state capitol and learning the producer side of news. At my University I worked as a producer, anchor and reporter for the schools-student run live, nightly 30 minute newscast TV 16 both in sports and news.
As a young girl I watched the news every morning with my dad (before cartoons) and ever since, news has fascinated me. I love how news changes in an instant and each day is different. I am passionate about telling impactful and breaking controversial stories. Seeing first-hand what is happening in the community and informing people is why I chose to go into broadcasting.
Outside of the office, I like to work out, be outdoors, go to movies, and do any sort of craft. I played four years of collegiate soccer and will kick around at any opportunity. I am a middle child with an older brother and younger sister. I enjoy traveling and would like to learn different languages. I am a huge Denver Broncos fan and since I am from Colorado I try to hit the slopes as much as possible whether it is snowboarding or skiing.
I joined NTV in August 2013 and am excited to be living in the Husker state. I want to tell your stories and stories that matter to you. Please don't hesitate to send an email, even just to say hello!
