Organizers called Grand Island's first community health fair a success Saturday.
Around 700 people attended the inaugural event at the Community Field House.
Local hearing, eye and dental experts were among those available during the Get Well G.I. Fair.
"We have so many different diseases and ailments that people suffer from every day and they just don't take the time to take care of themselves," said Jenna Rivera from Active Family Chiropractic & Acupuncture. "We, right now, have a ton of different health providers and vendors here for them to get the information need and hopefully to build their wellness team."
Free spinal screenings and obstacle courses were part of the fair Saturday.
Organizers said they hope to make it an annual event.
