ZOFT Gum has begun a thirty one day period of creative engagement with the ZOFT brand, enlisting contributors from across social media to playfully recreate the company logo.

Strong brands have an identity that allows them to broaden their range of products far beyond what they originally created and still stay true to their mission. ZOFT Gum has done just that over the years, creating added-value products that began with gum but soon expanded to lozenges, candy and mints. Their brand is strong because they encourage people to use it creatively, and their March Madness competition is a perfect example.
For 31 days, creative talents throughout the social media spheres have been encouraged to recreate the ZOFT gum logo however they see fit, and the entrants will be voted on in April. Already, many multimedia entries have been made through images and video. A hamster has eaten the logo out of cabbage, the logo has been recreated through long exposure shots using fire, and even laser engraved into steel. Many of these tricks can be found in ZOFT Gum Videos on Vimeo or on ZOFT’s YouTube Video Channel.
These are just some of the entrant that have already contributed, and with nearly three weeks still to go the company is looking forward to seeing what will be submitted next. Clients are invited to check back regularly for the latest entrants to see how the brand is inspiring people to take it forward organically.
