As of March 1, enrollment for the Obama administration's health care plan was at 4.2 million, well short of the administration's 6 million sign-up goal.
That means someone has to sign up every 1.4 seconds in March to reach the enrollment goal
Federal data released this week shows that sign-ups alsoslowed last month, with fewer than 950,000 people choosing a plan. That's far below the 1.8 million needed in March.
And a new report says more than 25,000 Nebraskans havesigned up for private health insurance plans through the federal website from October through February.
Statewide, more than 54,000 Nebraska residents areeligible for plans through the federally-facilitated marketplace.
Enrollment season ends March 31.
