Changes are coming soon for a popular spring festival in Kearney.
This year's annual Wine and Jazz Festival will not be under a tent at MONA, but rather at the Buffalo County Expo Center.
Officials say there are two reasons for the change: weather, and the expansion of the festival itself.
"I think every year we're looking at new ideas, keep things fresh, and especially with its new location we're able to look at a new layout as well as adding more to it," said event coordinator Laurel Rosado. "And so I think every year when you have an event it does seem to just grow on its own, so each year looking at some new ideas."
Coordinators say the venue change will not have an impact on the mood of the festival.
