A Scottsbluff man convicted in December on drug charges was back in court Tuesday where he was found guilty of bribing one of the jurors assigned to his case.

It took a Scotts Bluff County jury less than two hours to convict 34-year-old Brian Ross of juror bribery.

Prosecutors said Ross had spoken to a juror upon arriving at the courthouse on Dec. 4 for his drug trial. The juror joined the jury panel and listened to testimony, and then reported the conversation during the lunch break. The juror was replaced by an alternate.

Ross was convicted later that day of felony possession of methamphetamine and two other crimes.

Sentencing for the bribery conviction has been set for April 24.
