NEB WBB: Huskers to Face BYU in NCAA Second Round

No. 4 Seed Nebraska (26-6, 12-4 Big Ten) will take on No. 12seed BYU (27-6, 14-4 West Coast Conference) on Monday at 8 p.m. (CT)/6 p.m.(PT) at Pauley Pavilion in the second round of the NCAA Women's BasketballTournament. BYU advanced to the second round with a 72-57 upset of No. 5 seedNC State in Saturday's second game in Los Angeles.

 

Lexi Eaton led BYU with 25 points and eight rebounds, whileMorgan Bailey added a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. Senior centerJennifer Hamson added 12 points, 19 rebounds and nine blocked shots, justmissing a triple-double.

 

The game will be televised on ESPN2. A live radio broadcastwill be available on the Husker Sports Network and for free on Huskers.com.
