Dozens of waffle irons lined up Sunday to help sick children.
It's part of the annual Waffleman fundraiser in Hastings.
Proceeds go to Shriner Children's Hospitals.
The members of the Daughters of the Nile, which hosts the event, said it's their goal to help these kids and it's not always through medical care.
"We can send up things to hospitals that they use for the children -- books and coloring books and colors and sometimes the hospital needs pillow cases," said Nancy Beach, Daughters of the Nile member.
Although this fundraiser has only been around for a handful of years, the Hastings Daughters of the Nile celebrated 60 years recently.
The national group has been around for 100 years.
